This course is on database systems, at the University of Nyíregyháza Computer Science BSc major.  Mandatory and optional elements of its subject are displayed.

Compared to the usual curriculum order, the course does not start with the details of database design questions, but starts with the knowledge necessary to understand and create the logical structure of databases, then with the basics of the SQL data manipulation language (Select, Insert-Update-Delete) and the other passive (e.g. indexes, views, constraints ) and active (e.g. procedure, trigger) elements of databases, and only then returns into details of the topic of E/R diagrams and functional dependence, normal forms.

Learning the curriculum will be facilitated by interactive lessons.
